In the year 1979, the Iranian revolution led to the overthrow of the monarchy and the establishment of a theocratic, Islamic state. Due to a radical and regressive approach towards women and freedom of expression, a rift has been created among the common people of Iran, especially women. They are highly rejoiced with the death of Hosseini Khamenei and have shown public gratitude towards US forces.
